Privacy Policy
This policy explains how After Birth Control handles information.
Information handled
Your method category, transition date, chosen signals, check-ins, notes, context events, and generated comparisons are stored locally on your device. After Birth Control does not require an account and does not transmit that record to us.
Use and processing
The app processes your entries on your device to place them relative to Day 0, show coverage, create descriptive comparisons, and generate exports you request. Apple processes App Store purchases through StoreKit under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your private timeline content with a purchase.
Sharing and tracking
After Birth Control contains no advertising, third-party analytics, data broker, remote logging, crash-reporting, or tracking SDK. The app does not sell personal information. Nothing leaves the app unless you explicitly create an export and choose a destination through the iOS share sheet, or voluntarily email support.
Retention, export, and deletion
Your record remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. You can create a complete selected CSV or PDF export and can archive or permanently delete the local timeline in the app. Temporary export files are removed after their sharing lifecycle or during later cleanup. Because version 1.0 has no account or sync, deleting the app or losing the device may permanently remove data that you did not export.
Your choices
You choose the signals you record, whether to add optional context or notes, whether to enable generic local reminders, what to include in an export, and whether to purchase monthly access. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings. Reading, correcting, exporting, archiving, and deleting existing records remain available after subscription lapse.
